On IRCTC’s platform, there are instances where the money gets debited and the tickets are not issued, all such transactions fall into a bucket of full refund.
In the existing payment ecosystem, it takes a minimum of 5-7 working days for the refund to get credited into the customer’s account.
This creates lot of challenges for customers. For example, if the customer with Rs. 2000 in his bank account is trying to do a transaction for
Rs. 1100 which fails, the only option left with customer is to wait for a refund to do a subsequent transaction.
Autope eliminates all such hassles for the customer. This is achieved by creating a temporary lien (hold) on user’s
Bank / Card / UPI account while initiating the payment process. It is only executed (debited) if the PNR gets generated else the lien is removed and funds are accessible
to the customer.
This feature is available on UPI / Debit / Credit Cards. Autope holds the patent for the said feature.
Autope also offers a salient feature of real-time redemption of reward points wherein users can avail their reward points on a real-time basis while doing the railway booking.
Autope holds the patent for this as well.
